And while I don’t disagree that it’s fine , he actually was saying that it’s fun.

YouTube auto-captioning is almost as good (for a laugh) as MS Office voicemail translation.

Glad the M2 is so good. Restores my hope for the future of BMW sports cars.

And lest we forget what car is even better than the 1M:

How is your E90 holding up?

Looks like fun. My last route in mine was pretty dull -I35 from Minneapolis to Des Moines and back.

It’s impressively comfortable for a highway cruiser, but the backroads is where it belongs!

Wow. Nice. I’ve been thinking about the BPM, test pipe, and pulley. Has this caused any warranty issues for you? (If you are under one)

No, I had an aftermarket warranty (EasyCare TotalCare) which I ended up only using for replacing a couple tires, so I can’t really talk to that.

Ok. I have one through the dealer that I can refund the unused portion at anytime.

I’d get a Blackstone oil analysis, if you haven’t yet, before modifying or getting a refund on your warranty. My last one looked great (knock on wood). So far, it seems like 1-2% of these engines will end up with rod bearing problems. Odds are in our favor, but it’d suck to be one of the few it happens to!

Think I’d still have a new 1LE (or even just an SS) at this point

I already have the kit waiting in my toolchest at home. I’m planning on changing the oil in the next few weeks. I know high Lead in turn with Copper is the sign of imminent failure.

I can’t do a Camaro (looks and visibility), but if they make a new SS sedan based on the new Camaro SS (with V8, manual, same suspension, etc.) I’d be seriously interested (assuming I’m not able to just hold onto my E90 M3 long term).

The current SS sedan is pretty great, but I’m thinking a new, Camaro-based one could be even better (and maybe cheaper).

UH that’s like me wishing for a GT4 shooting brake with realistically short gearing

it’s not perfect but it’s just about there for what you want
